Thank you for walking me through the shop on Tuesday. The current site was built in 2017 for a business that mostly sold online, and the shop you run now is about events, the book club and people coming in on a Saturday. The site should say that in the first line and make the next event easy to find.

Here is what I propose, with the price and the dates. If anything should be different, tell me and I will send a fresh version.

Scope

  1. A five-page site: home, events, the book club, about and contact, built from your existing copy with a light edit.
  2. An events page you update yourself through a simple form, with the next three events shown on the home page.
  3. Type, color and layout chosen for the shop, using the photographs from the session we talked about.
  4. Set-up on your existing domain, with every old page redirected to its new home.
  5. A one-hour handover call and a short written guide to updating the site.

$3,800

half before work starts and half on launch

Timeline

Four weeks from the first payment, with a first look at the home page at the end of week two.

Terms

Work starts once this proposal is accepted and the first payment has arrived.

The scope above is what the price covers. Anything outside it is quoted separately before it is started.

Two rounds of changes are included. Further rounds are billed at a rate agreed in advance.

Either side can end the project with written notice. Work completed up to that point is paid for, and nothing beyond it is owed.
